HOA & Community Association Notary Services

Notary Services That Understand Community Associations

Online First. In Person When You Need Us.

When a board member, homeowner, resident, vendor, or other community stakeholder asks, “Do you know a notary?” your management team should already have a trusted resource available.LCM provides professional Texas notary services with a convenient online-first approach backed by firsthand community association management experience.

Remote Online Notarization

Notarization Without the Extra Trip

Remote Online Notarization can allow eligible signers to meet with a commissioned Texas online notary through an approved online process, rather than coordinating an in-person meeting.

Document eligibility and acceptance requirements can vary. The receiving party, issuing agency, association counsel, title company, governmental office, or other appropriate recipient should determine whether electronic and remote notarization is acceptable for the particular document.

  • Convenient online appointments
  • Useful for busy board members and homeowners
  • Helpful when parties are not in the same location
  • No unnecessary travel for eligible documents
  • Secure identity-verification procedures through the RON platform
  • Electronic completion of eligible notarizations
  • An easy option for management teams referring someone to a notary

How It Works

Complete the required identity-verification process and meet with the Texas online notary using the applicable RON platform.

  4. 04

    Complete the Notarization

Common Needs

When a Notary Resource May Be Helpful

Association professionals, board members, homeowners, residents, and vendors may occasionally encounter documents for which a notarization has been requested or required. Examples may include:

  • Affidavits
  • Sworn statements
  • Acknowledgments
  • Jurats
  • Certain association or board documents
  • Certain property-related documents
  • Certain lien-related documents
  • Documents presented by homeowners or residents
  • Certain vendor or business documents
  • Other documents containing a lawful notarial certificate

Notarization requirements depend on the document and circumstances. LCM does not determine whether a document requires notarization and does not provide legal advice. Questions regarding document preparation, legal effect, required signatures, recording requirements, or the appropriate notarial certificate should be directed to the document recipient, issuing agency, association counsel, title company, attorney, or other appropriate professional.

For Management Companies

Give Your Team a Notary Resource They Can Keep on File

Your managers should not have to search for a notary every time a homeowner, board member, resident, or other community stakeholder asks for one.

LCM is developing an HOA & Community Association Notary Resource Packet designed specifically for community association professionals. Management companies will be able to keep the resource internally and share appropriate information directly with people requesting notary assistance.

The packet may ultimately include:

  • LCM notary contact information
  • Remote Online Notarization information
  • Mobile/in-person options
  • How to request an appointment
  • Resident-facing notary information
  • Board-facing notary information
  • General appointment preparation guidance
  • Appropriate Texas notary disclosures
  • QR code/direct link to this page

Please do not include ID numbers, account numbers, or other sensitive personal information. Requesting the packet does not subscribe you to LCM Updates.
