Payment-card and similar payment information may be collected and processed by Shopify, payment processors, or other payment providers rather than stored directly by LCM. LCM may receive transaction status and related order information necessary to administer the purchase.

- provide, administer, and improve requested products and services;
- manage publishing, design, creative, notarial, and other client projects;

CLIENT FILES AND PROJECT MATERIALS
Files submitted to LCM may contain confidential, personal, copyrighted, proprietary, or other protected information.
By submitting materials to LCM, the person submitting them represents that they have the authority, rights, licenses, or permissions reasonably necessary for LCM to receive and use those materials for the requested service.
LCM may use or process submitted materials as reasonably necessary to perform the requested work, administer the client relationship, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, and comply with applicable obligations.
LCM may also provide relevant materials to service providers when reasonably necessary to store, transmit, design, print, manufacture, publish, distribute, fulfill, or otherwise perform the requested services.
SECURE CLIENT UPLOADS
Publishing and Creative inquiry forms may allow clients to provide project-related files through LCM's private upload system.
Uploaded files are not intended to be publicly accessible. LCM uses administrative and technical controls designed to restrict access to authorized personnel and systems.
Customers should not use ordinary project-upload forms to submit government identification, account passwords, payment-card numbers, or other highly sensitive information unless LCM specifically instructs them to use an appropriate secure workflow.
NOTARIAL SERVICES
LCM's ordinary website inquiry forms are not intended for the upload of government identification or other sensitive identity-verification documents.
When identification, credential analysis, identity verification, or other information is required for a notarization, that information may be collected or processed through the applicable notarial, remote-notarization, identity-verification, or technology workflow and may also be subject to that provider's privacy practices and applicable legal requirements.
SHOPIFY AND ECOMMERCE
LCM uses Shopify to provide portions of its ecommerce and checkout environment.
Information related to commerce activity may be transmitted to or processed by Shopify in order to provide ecommerce, checkout, fraud-prevention, personalization, and other Shopify services.
Shopify Network Intelligence is currently enabled for LCM's Shopify environment. Shopify may process customer information from interactions with LCM together with information from interactions with Shopify and other merchants to provide enhanced services.
Depending on a customer's jurisdiction, certain Shopify processing may constitute sharing or processing for targeted advertising under applicable privacy law.
Where applicable, customers may use Shopify's privacy controls and data-sharing opt-out mechanisms.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS
LCM may provide information to independent service providers when reasonably necessary to operate the business or deliver a requested product or service.
Depending on the transaction or project, these providers may include:
- ecommerce and payment providers;
- website and cloud infrastructure providers;
- email and communication providers;
- printers and print-on-demand providers;
- manufacturers;
- fulfillment providers;
- shipping carriers;
- book printers;
- publishing and distribution platforms;

The providers used by LCM may change as the business and its services evolve.
COOKIES, BROWSER STORAGE, AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES
The main LCM website currently uses limited browser storage and similar functionality necessary to operate site features.
This may include functionality used to:
- maintain a shopping cart;
- preserve in-progress Publishing, Creative, or Notary questionnaire responses;
- maintain authenticated sign-in sessions; and
- support normal site navigation.
LCM's current main website does not intentionally load general-purpose analytics trackers, advertising pixels, behavioral advertising tools, session-recording tools, or heatmap services.
Necessary hosting, security, routing, or infrastructure technologies may be used by LCM's service providers.
Shopify's commerce environment may use cookies and other technologies according to Shopify's services, privacy settings, consent controls, and applicable privacy notices.
If LCM later introduces analytics, advertising, or other non-essential tracking technologies, this Privacy Policy and any applicable consent mechanisms may be updated.
RETENTION
LCM retains personal information and client materials for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which they were collected, including to:
- provide or document services;
- maintain appropriate business and project records;
- satisfy contractual obligations;
- satisfy legal, regulatory, accounting, or tax requirements;
- administer publishing, royalty, or intellectual-property records;
- resolve disputes;
- protect legal rights; and
- meet legitimate operational requirements.
Different categories of records may have different retention periods.
SECURITY
LCM uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of its operations and the information involved.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

CHILDREN AND MINORS
The LCM website is not directed to children under 13 and is not intended to knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without appropriate parent or guardian involvement.
LCM may provide services involving children's publications, family photography, creative works involving minors, or projects submitted by a parent, guardian, or authorized adult. Those activities do not mean that the website is intended for independent use by children.
Additional consent or authorization may be required when services involve minors.
